Based in Belfast and Downpatrick, Smart Club Solutions develops membership management software and apps as well as delivering wider IT solutions for sports clubs and private member organisations across the UK and Ireland.
We are currently inviting applications for the above role which may be offered on a part-time employee or freelance basis. The successful applicant will be joining us at an exciting phase in our development as we approach the launch of our new website alongside other planned marketing and recruitment activities.
The role offers the opportunity for remote working after initial training, with occasional attendance at meetings in Belfast and Downpatrick.
Flexible hours are likely to be around 10 per week and this can be discussed further at interview stage.
The successful applicant will be expected to have several years experience in:·
* Operation of Xero (or similar) accounting system
* Accounts reconciliation, payment processing, maintenance of records
* Management of processes, records and returns to meet compliance related to NI Protocol – familiarity with forthcoming changes would be an advantage but not essential
* Preparation and submitting VAT returns and EC Sales Lists
* Payroll administration
* Generating management reports in Excel
The role may expand in the future to include raising purchase orders, invoicing, credit control, possible customer liaison.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills and look forward to working as part of a small, loyal team in an innovative environment.
