Established in 1882, Sutton Lawn Tennis Club is one of the oldest tennis clubs in the world. Based in Sutton, Co.Dublin, the Club has 11 artificial grass tennis courts, 2 of which are covered by a dome for indoor play. Other facilities include 3 squash courts, a gym, sports shop and a bar, lounge and function room. The Club has approximately 1450 members.
In 2007, we designed an integrated solution for Sutton Lawn Tennis Club comprising Smart Membership management software, Smart Cards, 2 tills with Smart EPoS and Stock Control and Smart Access control. The comprehensive access solution covers approximately 20 points and includes timed court lighting linked to the balance on a member’s Smart Card and timed lighting control in snooker rooms. So for instance, swiping a member’s card may light the court for 30 minutes and deduct €2 from their Smart Card balance.
